“Whatever It Takes” is a youth-led creative project inspired by the powerful song by Luxembourg-based artist Matt De Cae.
Young people aged 12–30 came together to co-create the official music video, expressing themselves through dance, movement, acting, and visual arts. From concept to final cut, participants took the lead—doing whatever it took to bring their story to life.
Creative Labs – Participants explored movement, storytelling, and camera presence.
Filming Sessions – They shot in iconic locations across Luxembourg.
Behind-the-Scenes Training – hey learned camera work, lighting, costume design, editing, and direction.
Final Premiere Event – The music video was screened publicly, followed by a Q&A with the youth creators.
Empower self-expression – Provide a safe space for young people to express their identity, emotions, and ideas through artistic creation.
Celebrate diversity – Showcase Luxembourg’s rich multicultural youth voices and perspectives.
Promote youth leadership – Support young people to co-design and lead a professional-quality video production from start to finish.
Build real-world skills – Offer hands-on training in acting, choreography, videography, directing, editing, and production planning.
Because youth deserve to take up space—and be seen, heard, and celebrated. Whatever It Takes is not just a music video. It’s a collective act of creativity, courage, and connection—showing what’s possible when young people lead.
This video is the result of an intercultural, youth-led creative journey in partnership with Luxembourgish artist Matt De Cae. Young people from diverse backgrounds come together to design, direct, and perform in the official video for “Whatever it Takes.” The song—written and performed in 110 languages—celebrates self-confidence, identity, and perseverance.
More than a video, it is a celebration of collaboration across cultures, showing the power of believing in yourself and the strength of creating together. ✨ Whatever it Takes is not just a song—it is a statement of unity, resilience, and creativity.
This project was open to young people aged 12 to 30 living in Luxembourg, with or without prior experience in the arts. Whether they were into dance, acting, filming, or just curious to try something new—everyone was welcome.
Participants could choose to get involved on-screen or behind the scenes. Auditions were held between late August and early September 2025 for those who wanted to perform in the video as dancers or actors.
We especially encouraged participation from youth who felt underrepresented or unheard—your voice mattered here.
