Out of my comfort zone is my comfort zone

[ENG] Out of comfort zone is my comfort zone is a project aimed at giving young people the opportunity to step out of their physical and social environment in order to explore their potential and find their path. The idea is to provide them with various possibilities and activities that allow them to discover their hidden skills and talents. We want to create a safe and exploratory space for a maximum of 20 participants.

This project is important to us because we have encountered many young individuals who are uncertain about their future careers and how to break free from their socio-economic environment. We believe in providing equal access to a better future for all. The idea for this project originated from our participation in several training programs organized by asbl like 4motion and Aldic. These experiences inspired us to create our own project and further engage in the field of non-formal education.

By offering tailored orientation opportunities, we aim to help young people explore their potential through real experiences and activities. The exchange and collaboration among participants will foster self-discovery, understanding and acceptance of different cultural codes, and encourage open conversations about differences. Our goal is to build stronger social cohesion and create an environment where young individuals can come together, connect with one another, and follow a lifestyle that promotes their well-being.

With this project, we aim to increase the quality of life, transmit practical skills, and empower young people to take control of their lives. We want to provide them with the chance to step out of their comfort zones, explore their abilities, and focus on their life projects. Our project primarily targets young people between the ages of 15 and 30 who are seeking social inclusion and integration.

This project aligns with the objectives of the European Solidarity Corps as it addresses diversity and inclusion through non-formal education activities. It aims to enhance young people's engagement in solidarity activities, particularly volunteering, which allows them to further develop their soft skills and broaden their perspectives. By bringing together participants from different backgrounds, we strive to strengthen social cohesion. Our project also supports the priority of promoting and supporting physical and mental health, as we want to ensure that all young people, regardless of their background and skills, have access to this experience. Multilingualism will be fostered during the project, as we accept participants of all language levels and provide translation support for activities.
